ProductRex Integration

Finley + ProductRex: A tech integration that lowers the cost of advice

We built Finley with ProductRex in mind for one clear reason: ProductRex is a free product comparison tool designed to reduce the time and cost of producing compliant advice.

High-quality advice still requires a lot of moving parts—fact finding, objectives, scope, strategy, product research, replacement analysis, projections, fee disclosure, and a coherent Statement of Advice. In most practices, those steps are split across different systems and documents, creating rework, inconsistency, and unnecessary cost.

Finley and ProductRex close that gap by connecting product research to advice production.

ProductRex handles the comparison work advisers must evidence—costs, features, suitability considerations, and replacement analysis support. It gives you clear product-level inputs that can be referenced and explained.

Finley then turns those inputs into advice-ready content. It helps structure the narrative and build the SOA components around the client’s situation—objectives, strategy rationale, projections, fees, consequences, alternatives, and implementation steps—so advisers aren’t starting from a blank page.

The result is a smoother workflow from research → recommendation → SOA, with fewer manual handoffs and less duplication. That matters because the biggest driver of advice cost is often not expertise—it’s admin friction and rework created by disconnected processes.

This is not about replacing professional judgement. Advisers still decide what is appropriate, and they still own the final advice. Finley helps organise and draft; ProductRex helps substantiate and compare. Used properly, the technology reduces repetition while improving consistency and clarity.

For clients, that means advice that is easier to understand: what’s recommended, what alternatives were considered, why the recommendation is appropriate, what fees apply, and what trade-offs exist—clearly linked back to their goals.

Finley + ProductRex is a practical step toward a lower-cost advice model: keeping product comparison free, and making advice production faster, clearer, and better supported—without compromising quality.
