Reading Findings and Downloading Reports
The result screen brings together SARA’s findings, evidence and suggested next steps. Work through the detail before relying on the summary or changing an outcome.
Step 1: Find the review
Select Reviews and open the client’s review. The list includes review type, client, adviser and status. Search this page... searches the loaded page; use the filters and Prev/Next controls to find records on other pages.
Step 2: Read the introduction and gaps
On Pre-vet Result, start with the introduction, compliance gaps and adviser coaching. Then select a check from the Findings list or move through the checks with Back and Next.
Step 3: Check each outcome
Pass: review the reasoning and evidence supporting the result.
Review: investigate the uncertainty or missing information.
Fail: check the issue, correct the advice or evidence and follow your escalation process.
Not Applicable: confirm why the check does not apply.
Open the available evidence references to inspect the source. Compare the cited passage, file and location with the actual document. If a source is missing or cannot be opened, obtain it before relying on the finding.
Step 4: Record a considered outcome
Where the interface permits an outcome or Review status to be changed, use it only to record a justified decision under your organisation’s process. Changing a dropdown does not correct the underlying advice or run a new assessment.
Step 5: Download the pre-vet report
Select Print Report. The current pre-vet export downloads a Word document (.docx). Open it and check the client, findings and report contents. If you need a PDF, create one from the checked Word report using your approved document tools.
For a linked Advice Vetting request, the export also attempts to save a report copy to that record. Check SARA Report and any save message. A download can succeed even if saving the linked copy fails.
File Audit reports
Authorised managers can open a File Audit and use Print compliance report to select Draft report or Final report. Review the document before sharing. The word “Final” is a report type, not an automatic compliance approval.
